FACING THE FUTURE BOLDLY
[Of Special Interest to Young People]
Every person has surely asked himself at some time: "Will I succeed? Will I be able to meet today's exacting demands?" Christian Science replaces human arguments with true, spiritual answers and relieves the tensions and pressures which are commonly associated with mortal activity.
As one gains more understanding of this Science, he moves forward in his daily demonstration of his real identity as God's perfect reflection and succeeds in his human work through a clear realization of the divine demands upon him. Mrs. Eddy says in "The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany" (p. 12), "Faith in divine Love supplies the ever-present help and now, and gives the power to 'act in the living present.'"
Christian Scientists, through their understanding of God as infinite Mind, are proving every day the nothingness of the discouraging claims of mortal mind. As the young adult goes out into the world to begin to make his living, error attempts to present the future as highly uncertain and produces frightening details to support its claims.
