In my own family over the past years I have witnessed healings of hives, impetigo, whooping cough, quinsy, and jaundice.

When our daughter was about eight years old, she was playing on a pile of old lumber which had been taken from her grandparents' home during a period of remodeling. While playing she stepped on a nail sticking up in a board. It pierced her foot quite deeply.

This happened late in the afternoon. She did not complain much about the injury until later in the evening when the foot began to take on an alarming appearance in size and color. A Christian Science practitioner was called, and help was asked for. She lovingly reminded us of our heavenly Father's care for His children and told us that we need not accept this injury as true. She then said she would prayerfully work for the child.
