TRUSTING IN GOD AT COLLEGE

[of Special Interest to Young People]

College students who are Christian Scientists can prove daily that a correct understanding of God and of man as His child, supports them in every experience. Relying on God as divine Principle, as Father-Mother, brings welcome relief from limited thinking and activity. Undeviating help in every circumstance of one's college days results from one's trust in God, divine Mind.

Turning to God as Principle, the source of all law and order, the college student is aided in finding suitable living accommodations, in making correct class schedules, and in choosing his social and extracurricular activities without fear of conflicts. The words (Eccl. 3:1), "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven," can guide his thinking and enable him to experience peace, joy, satisfaction, in the arrangement of his college activities.

For many of these young people, college days bring the first extended period of living away from home. To the student of Christian Science this is an opportunity to demonstrate the true concept of home as heaven, as the harmony of Mind, God, expressed. There is no room for loneliness or homesickness in heaven.
