PROPULSION

Pearl Strachan Hurd

That we exist is not at all
Difficult to prove
And shows we are intended
To be alive.

By varying proofs that God is Mind,
And neither death nor birth
A fact, we speed our thought
And our adventure forth.

Love's universe, including each
Cherished reflection,
Permits no star, no moon, outside
Its jurisdiction,

Which now presents clearer to view
Divine invention,
No one excluded from Love's world,
No separation.
