Our family have relied on Christian Science for the solution of many problems and have always found the help we needed.

One Friday night, at Thanksgiving time, my daughter came home from school limping and crying. She said she had felt her foot snap while playing basketball. It had not hurt much until she was on the school bus a few minutes later. Then she had become aware that a bone in the foot was broken. We decided to rely completely on Truth for the remedy; so we called a Christian Science practitioner, who agreed to help her.

The practitioner asked us to study the Bible Lesson in the Christian Science Quarterly especially prepared for Thanksgiving Day. On Saturday and Sunday our daughter was not able to walk at all; but the practitioner reminded us that our times are in God's hands and that when it was necessary for her to walk and to be about her right activities, she would be supplied with the needed strength.
