For the great privilege of having enjoyed the blessings of Christian Science all my life, I am deeply grateful to God. I am grateful to our beloved Leader for her inspired foresight in providing the Lesson-Sermons, found in the Christian Science Quarterly, the other periodicals, the lectures, and all the other avenues which enable us to enjoy the benefits of Christian Science.

After reading an article in the Sentinel about a boy who had been healed of warts on his hand, our daughter was quickly healed of an unsightly growth on her hand which had caused her discomfort and embarrassment for several months.

At one time I slipped on a stairway and injured my arm. Although I was not then seriously inconvenienced by the incident, in about three years the pain became acute. In humility I turned to God with gratitude that this was an opportunity to prove His dominion and my complete triumph over the bondage of a material belief of accident, pain, and incapacity. I requested the help of a Christian Science practitioner. Many false-traits were uncovered in my thinking, such as old resentments, fear, and lack of gratitude.
