In the early years of my marriage, I was in a constant state of ill-health, finally succumbing to a nervous breakdown. A relative, who was a student of Christian Science, urged me to have Christian Science treatment. I consented, and within a few weeks the healing was complete.

This was the turning point for me, and I began to study daily the Lesson-Sermon from the Christian Science Quarterly. In the years that followed, I have had the privilege of becoming a member of The Mother Church and of a branch church; I have also had the blessing of class instruction.

About four years ago I noticed a small lump on my eyelid. At first I did no specific metaphysical work about this condition. One day it was apparent the lump was enlarging.
