The importance of expressing gratitude was indicated by Christ Jesus, when, speaking of the ten lepers whom he had healed, he said (Luke 17:17, 18): "Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger."

That our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, also esteemed the expression of gratitude highly important is clearly evidenced by her provision for Wednesday testimony meetings and for written testimonies in certain of the Christian Science periodicals.

Such testimonies of healings in Christian Science have been most helpful to me, and I too have expressed my gratitude over the years at Wednesday testimony meetings for the many blessings that have come to me through the study and application of Christian Science. However, this is my first written testimony, and I should like to relate the following experience.
