"THE CHILDREN OF GOD HAVE BUT ONE MIND"
Christian Science provides the basis for the solution of all human problems. On page 469 of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Mary Baker Eddy states: "Mind is God. The exterminator of error is the great truth that God, good, is the only Mind, and that the supposititious opposite of infinite Mind—called devil or evil—is not Mind, is not Truth, but error, without intelligence or reality."
Since the divine Mind is the only Mind, the false claim that there are other minds is pure delusion. The infinite, all-harmonious Mind, God, is constantly revealing Himself to His creation. Therefore the individual can know all that is necessary for him to know, for in reality he is the idea of God, divine Mind. Each idea of God reflects every quality necessary for perfect expression of intelligence.
Individual man is at one with this Mind, just as the individual ray of light is at one with the sun. He is no more dependent upon his brother man for any required knowledge or intelligence than a ray of light is dependent upon the rays around it for elements or qualities of light. Each one is in reality the blessed child of God, good, expressing Him perfectly, completely independent of other ideas for life or intelligence.
