I can never express in mere words how grateful I am for everything connected with the Christian Science movement. This Science is indeed the Comforter promised by Christ Jesus, and it reveals the positive operative law of God. I have seen how this progressive law of good operates. No one is really outside of it, because it is infinite.

Many times these words from Proverbs have guided me to make right decisions (3:5, 6): "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."

From early childhood I suffered almost continuously with earache. Although much comfort was gained through the understanding of Christian Science applied by those in our home, I was not healed until I had become an adult. We were going through a particularly trying period, when a very painful ear trouble manifested itself. A neighbor, who was a medical nurse, told me I had mastoiditis and related some experiences she had encountered in nursing those suffering from this condition. She said it was absurd for me not to have medical attention.
