OUR GLORY-FILLED EARTH
In his prayer for the king, the Psalmist said (Ps. 72:18, 19): "Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things. And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory."
This prayer was not aimed to bring about the accumulation of great riches and personal honor and wisdom for the king. It was, in substance, a prayer that under his reign the majesty of God might be recognized as present and supreme in earth as it is in heaven.
According to the teachings of Christian Science, God is infinite good. He fills all space. There is no area in which His glory is not expressed. An individual may not be conscious of God's glory, because he may fail to recognize it; but it is present, nevertheless, to bless and heal him.
