THE SCIENTIFIC WAY

The working Christian Scientist rejoices that every scientific truth which he declares with faith and understanding makes a positive contribution toward the establishment of heaven, harmony, on earth. Striving to bring the government of God, the divine Principle of the universe, to all the affairs of men, endeavoring to see the perfection of God's creation right where imperfection appears to be, and putting forth a sincere effort to love when others seem to hate are in keeping with the healing way exemplified in the daily life of our scientific Way-shower, Christ Jesus.

The Master's view of true existence included no discord whatsoever, no fear, no rivalry, no physical or mental infirmity. His teachings and his works showed his understanding that the kingdom of heaven, the reign of God, divine Truth, Life, and Love, can be experienced in the so-called physical universe as well as in the spiritual realm.

It is now widely known that healings of many kinds of human discord are accomplished through understanding prayer in Christian Science today as in Jesus' time. This scientific way of prayer makes the healing presence of God and His Christ felt in our lives. Gracious and far-reaching is the deep and active desire, or prayer, of the consecrated Christian Scientist that the universal Christ-idea, God's ideal representative, shall permeate the whole of human consciousness. Then all that incites or invites error shall be ruled out and divine Truth, Life, and Love welcomed in as the only reality and as the Supreme Ruler over all.
