My first acquaintance with Christian Science came about when I met the nephew of the owner of the place in which I lived. He invited me to attend a service in a branch Church of Christ, Scientist, and introduced me to the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.

Later, while I was eating in a restaurant near the place of my employment, I met a Christian Scientist who shared her experiences and healings with me. While listening, I was moved by a desire to learn more of its teachings. Thus I began regular attendance at church services with the young man who had introduced me to Christian Science, and eventually we married and became the parents of a lovely daughter.

I am very grateful for the healings our child has had. While learning to walk, she fell down a flight of stairs, and as the result of my declarations of Truth, she was unharmed.
