DIVINELY INSPIRED ACTIVITY
What are our motives? What is animating us? Christian Science teaches that God is the Mind of the infinite universe; so divine Mind is all that can really motivate us. God is the Principle of the universe; so all that can really govern us is divine Principle. Love is the Life of the universe; so all that can really animate us is divine Love. If we accept these facts and keep them before us, we shall always be divinely inspired.
If hate, selfishness, and other false beliefs are governing us, our actions are the opposite of those which are divinely inspired. If we are acknowledging God as the Mind, the Principle, the Life, of the universe and accepting our true identity as God's image and likeness, we are governed by the Christ, the divine nature.
Christ Jesus pointed out that he did nothing of himself, that the words he spoke and the acts he performed were of the Father. He was ever animated, inspired, by God. He made it clear that what he did, we can do also, for God is our Father too.
