HOW CHRISTIAN SCIENCE HEALS April 4, 1959 Issue

RADIO PROGRAM No. 289 - Wake Up to Victory!

Speaker: One of the most rousing passages in the Bible is found in Psalms, where we read. "I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord." The Master, Christ Jesus, proved the truth of this promise; he proved by his great example that no condition is beyond God's healing and saving power. Our guest had a beautiful illustration of this in her own experience. She is Mrs. Violet Heintz Campau, of Palo Alto, California.

Please tell us about it, Mrs. Campau.

Mrs. Campau: Well, I turned to Christian Science when I was in dire need of healing. I was suffering from a severe case of oak poisoning. It got so bad (it was on my arms) that I was taken to a hospital. They gave me special shots and medicines. But these didn't help any. In fact, the condition just got worse. Finally, gangrene set in, and the doctors decided my arms would have to be amputated, both of them.
