I should like to express my deepest...

I should like to express my deepest gratitude for Christian Science and for the many blessings it has brought to me and my family. It was indeed a privilege during my childhood to attend a Christian Science Sunday School, in which we were lovingly taught the basic truths of Christian Science. The Christian Science Monitor Youth Forum, which enabled us to meet other Christian Scientists our own age, was also appreciated. A young man from the Forum later became my husband.

Several times during the past few years we have had occasion to move to different localities in the United States. We knew that because each move was a progressive one, we would always be led to a home that best suited our needs. In every instance we were guided to exactly the right home. In each new location the first thing we did was to seek out the nearest branch Church of Christ, Scientist, and become regular attendants. We were warmly welcomed in each church and thus immediately felt at home.

A recent experience for which I am grateful was the harmonious birth of our first child. My husband and I greatly desired to have the birth take place at home. The laws of our state require that a qualified physician or licensed midwife be in attendance. We engaged a physician to attend the birth, and he agreed with our wish to have the delivery at home. I was not, however, under the physician's care at all during the months previous to the birth, as I preferred to rely wholly and completely on Christian Science.
