Signs of the Times
Rev. W. A. MacArthur in a column appearing in The Times-News Twin Falls, Idaho
In an exciting book, "Your God Is Too Small," an English author, J. B. Phillips, suggests that man's greatest need in this generation is to break down the confining walls of his faith and discover new horizons, and larger dimensions in his spiritual appraisal of life.
"The trouble with many people today," writes Phillips, "is that they have not found a God big enough for modern needs. While their experience of life has grown in a score of directions, and their mental horizons have been expanded to the point of bewilderment by world events and by scientific discoveries, their ideas of God have largely remained static."
