NEW HORIZONS
New horizons, the great adventures of today, are not found in further inquiry into the mortal dream of life, intelligence, and substance in matter, but in the glorious revelations which inspired thought finds in the divinely sustained and teeming world of Spirit, God.
Almost a century ago, in the year 1866, Mary Baker Eddy's discovery of Christian Science launched the human race anew on the great exploration of the ages. The perception, in individual consciousness, of the universe of God's creating lifts mankind out of sin, disease, and death. It frees men from the barriers of ignorance and limitation and removes the obstacles to human progress.
Modern discovery and invention evidence the increasing freedom from limitation which the human consciousness is manifesting. Progressive freedom from limitation, mental darkness and bondage, is the direct result of spiritual progress and unfoldment. Progress in human affairs is very much to be desired. However, real progress must be seen and appreciated for what it is, not as a matter of human evolution but as the dropping away of unreal limitations when spiritually impelled thought rises toward greater and higher good.
