For years I have been receiving help and inspiration from reading the testimonies in the Christian Science periodicals, and I feel it is time for me to make my contribution in the hope that it will help others.

Some years ago I wrenched my back quite badly. At the time there was great deal of discord manifested in the office where I was employed. As my physical condition grew worse, I was forced to resign my position. I had financial worries, discouragement, and a strong sense of injustice and resentment. The back condition grew steadily worse, and my suffering was acute.

I had once attended a branch Church of Christ, Scientist, but I had not begun to study Christian Science. So instead of turning to Christian Science for help, I went to see an osteopath. He found that both hips were out of place, and two spinal vertebrae were dislocated. I had osteopathic treatment for several weeks, but I grew worse rather than better.
