I have been healed many times by reading the Christian Science periodicals and feel this testimony is long overdue. We have been blessed by Christian Science for many years. I have known of it since childhood. Our whole family has been helped and healed through its ministrations.

After our first two children were born, I drifted away from this Science. At the time of the birth of our third child, I was quite ill and sought the help of a Christian Science practitioner. After our baby was born, my husband was worried about my condition and insisted upon a medical examination and treatment. X rays showed a stomach ulcer. Medicines prescribed for the trouble gave only temporary relief.

One night I was in pain. As I got into bed I started repeating "the scientific statement of being"' from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, the first line of which reads (p. 468), "There is no life, truth, intelligence, nor substance in matter." As I repeated this line the pain ceased, and I knew that the only way I could be rid of This condition was through Christian Science.
