For many years I have read the testimonies in our periodicals and have been grateful for their healing messages. I now want to express my gratitude for Christian Science, for the Way-shower, Christ Jesus, and for our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.
In Science and Health, Mrs. Eddy tells us (p. 167), "Only through radical reliance on Truth can scientific healing power be realized." Through radically relying on Truth, I have had many healings.
At one time I was able to read for only ten or fifteen minutes at a time without suffering from headaches. This condition was healed while I was reading to a patient in whose home I was serving as a practical nurse. She had requested me to read to her from the textbook, Science and Health, instead of giving her a sedative as had been ordered by her physician.
