There have been many healings through Christian Science in my life and in the lives of those around me. As a result of study our whole way of life has changed for the better.

My first healing was of smoking. This came with my desire to join a branch Church of Christ, Scientist, and I saw that smoking was just error trying to keep me from realizing this joyous step.

The kind person who helped me to clear my thinking concerning this habit told me that if I chose, I could drop it then and there. She also said that to smoke was using human will and that to stop would be in conformity with God's will. I expressed warm gratitude for this counsel, and I was healed.
