It would be very difficult to relate...
It would be very difficult to relate all the good I owe to Christian Science. I have had many healings and other demonstrations of God's infinite goodness.
A healing that stands out is one of intestinal grippe, which assailed me when I was staying with friends in Boston, Massachusetts. It was a very sudden attack and so severe that I could not even get to a telephone to ask for help.
After some time I was just able to raise myself enough to look out of my bedroom window, from which I could see the floodlit dome of The Mother Church. As I looked, the words from our textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, came to my thought (p. 566), "Stately Science pauses not, but moves before them, a pillar of cloud by day and of fire bynight, leading to divine heights."
