RADIO PROGRAM No. 256 - Establishing and Maintaining Harmony in the Home

Speaker: How often an otherwise happy home is marred because of a deadlock in human relationships! Perhaps some member of the family feels he's out on a limb, neglected, unwanted. Our guest had an experience like that in her home, but she found an effective answer. I'd like to introduce Mrs. Winifred Langbridge, of Lakewood, Ohio.

Mrs. Langbridge: At the time I was married, my husband had two teen-age sons. Although I was very fond of these boys and they of me, there were many human relationship problems to be met.

One of the boys was outgoing and had a winning way, but the other was a shy, retiring, unhappy little boy. And there was a constant competition between them—quarreling and fighting. Sometimes for days they wouldn't speak to each other.
