In my early childhood I was confident that there is a God who is good, but at times I was troubled about many things. At such periods I prayed in my own way to this God, who I was sure is Love. I felt His all-enfolding, gentle presence. When I reached young womanhood, a dear friend told me of Christian Science. I listened eagerly and later remarked, "How happy I am to learn of this, for I have been seeking this knowledge all my life."

I purchased the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and earnestly studied its teachings. From that very moment I felt a great love for our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who gave to the world this precious truth. Thereafter my days were filled with blessings.

Various difficulties, physical and otherwise, were destroyed quickly and permanently. Supply was beautifully manifested through my realizing that only good can come to the children of God. How grateful I was for every proof! Two sons were wonderfully protected during World War II. Better health has been daily expressed, along with peace and harmony in business and in the home.
