"FROM STRENGTH TO STRENGTH"
Christian Science gives one a solid front from which to move forward. This front has no mortal or material aspect (which would be weakness instead of strength), but it is entirely spiritual. God, omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient, gives a substantiality which cannot be broken down.
The Psalmist said (Ps. 84: 5, 7): "Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them .... They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God."
One who puts his sole trust in matter, in drugs, in physical means of security or well-being, is ill prepared to move against error to destroy it. Mortal means and methods present to human consciousness only an appearance of might, a claim supported only by common consent.
