According to the teachings of Christian Science, man as God's idea is perfect and eternal. When I was a beginner in Science, this statement appeared abstract to me, but now I know that the solution to every human problem may be found in the recognition of this truth.

The study of the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, has given me a spiritual understanding of the Bible and has opened the way to health, supply, harmony, and happiness. My experiences have taught me that the decisive factor in healing is absolute fidelity to, and an unconditional acknowledgment of, the spiritual creation of man.

Gratefully and joyously I wish to relate an experience which confirms this truth. When jumping I injured one of my knees. A doctor advised an operation. However, for some time I did nothing about the condition. Then, because of a relapse, I was suddenly faced with the necessity of making a decision. I decided in favor of spiritual help and asked for Christian Science treatment.
