After enjoying the blessings, healings, and protection which Christian Science has afforded me for many years, I feel it is high time to express my gratitude in writing.

I am most grateful for the healing of one of my daughters, who had some form of paralysis about seven years ago. The child awakened very early one morning crying, unable to move, and with her head turned to one side. Together we repeated the Lord's Prayer, and her crying ceased. I then telephoned a practitioner. Her first words to me were those of Mrs. Eddy's on page 421 of Science and Health, "There is no disease."

The absolute truth of this statement and the spiritual conviction with which it was spoken did much to alleviate my fear. When I returned to the child, I found her moving her arms and legs, though she was still unable to lift herself. This was on a Tuesday, and there was no further change in the condition until Thursday morning when a very joyful little girl came running to greet me.
