SUSAN PROVES THAT LOVE IS ALL
[Of Special Interest to Children]
Susan had attended a Christian Science Sunday School for as long as she could remember. Her teacher gave the class weekly assignments from the Bible and from "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. Susan liked these lessons very much and studied the assignments every morning.
The truths that unfolded during this study often came to her if error of any sort tried to enter her thinking during the day. This time of quiet with God was much like putting on armor for the day. She often thought of it as the armor of Love which Mrs. Eddy speaks of in Science and Health when she says (p. 571), "Clad in the panoply of Love, human hatred cannot reach you."
Susan knew that a panoply is a suit of armor that covers one fully. She also knew that Love is All. She could reason out for herself that because God is All and God is Love, Love is All.
