Christian Science was presented to me by a loving practitioner when I turned to God in desperation a number of years ago. Since that time, I have relied completely on this divine way of Life, and it has met my every need.

While I was still a young student of Science, we were forced to move to a strange locality. Here I found myself with very heavy expenses, without employment, and with a rapidly diminishing bank account. I was facing what appeared to me to be nearly insurmountable financial difficulties.

I had sought employment with no appreciable success, and I finally decided to take the only job I had been able to find, even though it seemed quite unsatisfactory. One morning as I was on my way to the final appointment to discuss terms of compensation, I became confused in traffic and parked several blocks from my destination. I locked my car and started to walk. When I realized where I was, it was too late to turn back.
