ONLY ONE CAUSE
The source of all good is God, the sole cause and creator. Therefore any effect from another so-called cause is not genuine, is not real.
In the ninth chapter of the Gospel of John we read that Christ Jesus' disciples, beholding a man who had been blind since birth, asked Jesus, "Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?"
The answer given by Jesus, "Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him," should destroy for all time the false notion that the cause of disease, sin, or any evil is to be found either in God or in matter.
