Although I did not become interested in Christian Science until after I was married, I am most grateful that our three children have known this religion all their lives and have attended the Christian Science Sunday School from the time they were toddlers. So-called children's diseases have been overcome through Science, and in some instances, the child was not even confined to bed.

I should like to relate a healing of enlarged tonsils which caused our younger son frequent attacks of sore throat. The boy would be quite ill for a day or two every few weeks. When he was about eleven years old, we received a note from the school doctor to the effect that his tonsils required treatment. I knew in my heart that the only treatment needed was that of Christian Science.

I worked as we are taught to do in this Science; but the condition did not improve, and a second note was received from the school. Then I decided to ask a practitioner to give our son treatment, and she lovingly consented. What a joy it was some time later to realize that the healing had taken place! The trouble was so lifted from our thought that it was forgotten, until suddenly one day I realized that the child had not been subjected to the affliction for a long time. When the boy was again examined at the school, no trace could be found of the trouble.
