HIS BLESSINGS
LOVELIER
than summer's roses
Or song of the soaring lark,
Certain as dawning of the day,
God's blessings light the dark.
Wider than the wideness of the sea,
Boundless as unbounded space,
Unnumbered as the stars and sands,
The beauties of His grace.
Freer than winds that circle earth,
Brighter than the sun's warm glow,
Gentler than the spring rain falling,
His tender blessings flow.
Beyond the reach of time and dark,
Beyond the hopes that heart can plan,
Constant is the Love that blesses
Sparrow and star and man.
