Of Good Report

Church activities are the means of bringing healing, harmony, and progress to the individuals served and to those serving. Our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, says in "Miscellaneous Writings" (p. 113), "The systematized centres of Christian Science are life-giving fountains of truth." This can be seen from the fruitage which is described in the following reports from branches of The Mother Church.

A church in Nebraska writes:

"Prayerful work on the part of the members resulted in a muchimproved spiritual understanding of what Church really is. Growth has been steady and gratifying in every phase of our work. Members who have not before entered into church activities are now taking part, demonstrating their capacity to serve very commendably. Spontaneous and positive testimonies of healing are being given by those who have never before seemed able to express their gratitude publicly. Testimonies given at the Wednesday evening meetings indicate that good healing work is going on in the community.
