RADIO PROGRAM No. 273 - No Condition Is Hopeless

Speaker: The word "hopeless" is defined in one dictionary as "having no expectation of good." This was the situation in which our guest found herself. But just as things reached a crisis, her thoughts turned to God, divine Truth, and her expectations gradually changed completely. Her carefully verified story is a very helpful one, and we've asked her to tell it to you herself. This is Mrs. Lenora Phipps, of Ogden, Utah.

Mrs. Phipps, what was the crisis you're going to tell us about?

Mrs. Phipps: Well, it was many-years ago. I'd been ill, very ill, and my right arm had been completely helpless for nearly a year. The condition was diagnosed as tuberculosis of the bone; one of my fingers had been removed because of it. But after that arm got a little better, the other one became helpless too. And my back also was affected. Finally, my doctor called in several bone specialists. They said I couldn't expect to live longer than three months, even with surgery. I said I'd suffered enough, and I was just going to die. So I refused the operation.
