HOW CHRISTIAN SCIENCE HEALS November 1, 1958 Issue

RADIO PROGRAM No. 267 - Heart Trouble Healed

Speaker: When you reason from a purely spiritual basis, this is scientific prayer. Such prayer healed our guest of heart trouble. He's Frank P. Geisler, of New York City, New York. Please tell us about it, Mr. Geisler.

Mr. Geisler: I'll be glad to. But I think it might be a good idea if I gave you a little of the background. You see, I'd always enjoyed vigorous athletics. I'd done a lot of running, especially long-distance running. I boxed, played hockey, baseball, and football. Even when I entered the business world and couldn't keep up all these activities, I played strenuous golf on week ends, and tennis. I just loved the out-of-doors, and I enjoyed activity and still do.

So you can see just how serious it was for me when I was suddenly stricken with a severe heart ailment and couldn't do any of these things. I couldn't walk fast; I couldn't go up a hill; I couldn't even lie down and be comfortable; so I couldn't sleep. It took several months of prayerful study of Christian Science—persistent study—before I really came to grips with the situation.
