How wonderful to know that every problem that comes to us can be met through the proper application of Christian Science!

This knowledge came to me at an early age, for I attended the Christian Science Sunday School from babyhood until I was twenty. Through my own understanding, together with the help of loving parents, I was protected from most of the so-called childhood ailments. I am especially grateful for my mother's steadfast dedication to Truth, for it has proven to be a good example to me in my own path Spiritward.

Mrs. Eddy states in Science and Health (p.66), "Trials are proofs of God's care." This was illustrated to us when our three-year-old girl suffered a sunstroke. By evening it was apparent that we needed the help of a practitioner since she had not responded to our treatment. Our attention was directed to the statement in Science and Health (p.162), "Christian Science brings to the body the sunlight of Truth, which invigorates and purifies." We held to this thought as we continued to work prayerfully for the child.
