Progress in Branch Churches
"Forget self in laboring for mankind; then will you woo the weary wanderer to your door, win the pilgrim and stranger to your church, and find access to the heart of humanity." These words of our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, found on page 155 of "Miscellaneous Writings" are being put into practice daily as evidenced by the following reports.
One church writes: "Increased consecration on the part of the membership in the healing ministry of the Christ, Truth, has attracted many strangers to our services, some of whom have become actively interested in Christian Science, a few having been accepted into membership. This is indeed cause for gratitude. At our last corporate meeting it was unanimously voted to give three lectures this coming year instead of the two we usually give. The work toward our church dedication is progressing rapidly and harmoniously."
