THE CONTINUITY OF GOOD
Christian Science reveals the total falsity of the persistent claims of error that, despite our earnest striving, good is still discouragingly uncertain of attainment. The diligent student of this Science will be alert to recognize that any belief or suggestion which denies the continuity of good in any direction can actually be nothing more than a lie. He will perceive the spiritual fact that God, divine Love, is the one and only source of all good and that God continuously manifests infinite good to man.
Mary Baker Eddy's divinely inspired revelation of Christian Science makes unmistakably clear that the true character of good is spiritual, not material. Her teachings enable the student to demonstrate for himself the infinite abundance and continuous availability of spiritual good to meet all human needs. At the same time, the student becomes increasingly alert to detect the nothingness and total falsity of suggestions that matter is actual good. He learns that in Christian Science he is really inseparable from the spiritual good that meets all human needs.

Shortly, another client went into receivership while owing a substantial sum. The combination of the various difficulties seemed to threaten seriously the continued existence of the business.
