After seventeen rewarding years...

After seventeen rewarding years of the study and application of Christian Science, I certainly feel that I should submit a testimony for publication in our periodicals.

My first reading of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by our loving Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, healed me of several maladjusted conditions. Eyeglasses, which I had used for eight years, were laid aside. Distressing headaches ceased, a growth on the body disappeared, and a periodic organic disturbance vanished and has not returned. These healings came about solely by my perusal of the textbook and the acceptance of what was read.

Awakened by these wonderful healings, I investigated Christian Science further. After purchasing a Bible, a copy of the textbook, and the Christian Science Quarterly, I began to study the Bible Lessons contained therein. I proceeded in this work with great joy and enthusiasm.
