Over forty years ago I was suffering from a condition which was pronounced incurable by the doctors. I had been in the hospital three months and had gone through a very serious operation for an injured spine. The doctors told me that I would never be able to do any kind of work or be on my feet. They said that they had done all that could be done for me.

Just a short time after I was sent home with this verdict, Christian Science was presented to me. I was willing to try anything; so I asked a practitioner for help. I am grateful to say that I was healed with the first treatment. In a short time I went to work, standing on my feet almost all day. Never since then have I had any spinal trouble.

Another healing I want to tell about was that of a skin disease. While I was in the hospital for the operation mentioned above, the doctor noticed that I had a skin disease, and he asked me what it was. I told him that I did not know but that I had been born with it. My mother, her mother, and all of her sisters likewise had had it. They had all been told by every doctor they went to that there was nothing to be done for them medically.
