RADIO PROGRAM: No. 212 - Finding a New Outlook on Life

Speaker: All of us want to find lasting peace. We yearn for health and a satisfying understanding of life. But too often human efforts seem to bring only temporary happiness. Our guest today found this true, but she found the answer to despair and to invalidism when she gained an understanding of God. I'd like to introduce Mrs. Frances Hamill Seese of Cleveland, Ohio. She's going to tell us about it.

Mrs. Seese: First let me go back a number of years to my life as a young girl. I enjoyed all the ease, security, and pleasure the world has to offer; I had lots of friends and good times. But these worldly things just didn't seem to satisfy me.

I remember asking the question one time, "Why is it that Christ Jesus walked the earth, accomplishing those wonderful miracles, and nothing like he did has ever been done since?" I added, "That doesn't seem fair or just to me." The person I was talking to just shook her head sadly and was unable to answer my question.
