MOTHER'S PRAYER
Thy
child, dear Father-Mother God,
Thy child, not mine,
Expressing purity,
Abundant grace, sincerity;
In Spirit dwelling.
This, Thy child, is held secure,
Free, joyous, and triumphant,
Forever pure and satisfied,
At one with Thee.
In earnest prayer, with humble mien,
I lift my heart to Thee, dear God;
Yearning for inner vision clear
To feel Thy Christ forever near,
I long to grow in grace and see
This child, in Thine embrace, with Thee.
