In Psalms we read (67:1), "God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us." God has indeed been merciful unto me and blessed me and caused His face to shine on me.

To say I am grateful for Christian Science is putting it mildly. For over forty-five years I have depended upon God to meet my every need. I was healed of rheumatism, which was believed to be inherited, since my father was afflicted similarly, when I saw that in reality God is my only Father and that I can inherit only good. With the help of a Christian Science practitioner, consumption was overcome, and severe bowel trouble disappeared when I was shown that disease is mental instead of physical.

I would like to tell of another beautiful healing. I had been accustomed to help my young son, who was a beekeeper. A neighbor accidentally knocked over a hive, and I felt I could pick it up and set it right. However, the bees swarmed over me and stung me badly. I went to my room, and there I became unconscious. When my young daughter found me, she called a practitioner. After several minutes I was restored to consciousness, and before long I was free from all effects of the bee stings.
