"THE FATHER HATH NOT LEFT ME ALONE"
John 8:29
How
can I be alone
When Thou art within and without
All being;
When all Thy universe is filled
With those ideas which are Thine,
And mine through Thy reflection?
Thou art the source
Of good, and only good
To man;
I am companied by Love
And its abundance;
By Truth with its reality;
By Spirit, omnipresence—
Life defined!
No, Thou hast not left me alone,
Nor ever will.
Constantly Thy voice is speaking:
"I am All. Can there be lack?"
My listening heart accepts Thy word,
And fears are still.
