When
we consider how many today have insufficient nourishment, inadequate lodging, and no great hope of security, we see how necessary it is for the Christian Scientist to demonstrate the abundance of those spiritual ideas and talents which are the source of mankind's subsistence.
To
those who yearn for strength whereby to carry on an active existence with no sense of fatigue, Christian Science gives the answer.
God's
Word a lamp unto our feetForever points the way;When clouds of sense would shadow,Love bids, "Awake and pray.
How
many of us have not at some time felt that we were in the actual presence of God?
A Peaceful
stream makes its shaded or sunlit way through green valleys, past primitive fields and forests.

said that to love God supremely and our neighbor as ourself is the essence of the Ten Commandments.
