I have always received so much help and inspiration from testimonies of healing which I have heard and read that I should like to give a testimony to express my gratitude for Christian Science.

Our family has had numerous proofs that Christian Science heals. Some came about through our own work in the truth, and others with the loving help of practitioners, to whom I am very grateful.

Before our first son was born, the doctor told my husband, who had very little understanding of Christian Science, that he did not have much hope for the baby, because I had been in travail for almost seventy hours. My father read to me these words from the Bible (Ps. 138:8): "The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me." I accepted that statement as the truth and joyously relaxed, repeating the words over and over. In about an hour the baby was born and was entirely normal. Since then my husband has never wanted any kind of help for the family but Christian Science.
