Progress in Branch Churches

In "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" Mary Baker Eddy writes (p. 199), "The devotion of thought to an honest achievement makes the achievement possible."

The reports which follow afford fresh proof of the effectiveness of prayer in church activities. One branch church happily reports its progress as follows:

"There is an evident awakening in our church to the need for working together in love to God. Through prayerful work done by members several instances of church growth have been manifested. Our membership has increased as has also the general attendance at our church services. More children are coming regularly to our Sunday School, and this has necessitated forming additional classes. We plan to enlarge and redecorate our Sunday School in the near future.
