RADIO PROGRAM No. 140 - Putting First Things First
On this program Herman C. Otto of Merrick, New York, told of his own experience. The program was as follows:
Speaker: Today you'll hear the experience of a man who became so wrapped up in his business affairs that he felt he had very little time left for the spiritual aspects of living. I'd like you to meet our guest, Herman C. Otto of Merrick, New York. Mr. Otto, won't you tell us what kind of work you were in then?
Mr. Otto: Yes, at the time of this experience I was sales manager for a large textile mill. Shortly after my return from a vacation, an infection developed in my right foot. At this particular time the textile industry was in a state of upheaval, and I was struggling for business. My foot continued to swell; in fact, my whole leg was affected. I had to use crutches, and everyone at the office was much concerned, since I lost a great deal of weight.
