INSTANTANEOUS HEALING

Lo , this is the now,
Immediateness, wherein I dwell;
Another second, it will pass;
A moment since, it had not come,
Despite the sun's undeviating furrow in the sky
(For thus do memory and fear proclaim their ancient lie
Concerning life and being).
I cannot live in years gone by;
I cannot live tomorrow's hours
Today:
The only actuality is now.
